Capita Students App
      BACKGROUND
Capita Educational Support Services are a global leading provider of support services in education. They work with over 21,000 schools and 220 colleges, via a suite of different software.
The Student App is a new product to connect Students with their schools, allowing them to keep track of their daily timetables, outstanding homework and plan their school career.

      CHALLENGE
The main challenge can be defined as:

Improve the adoption of the product by students.

Simplify and improve the UX of the App to make it easier for students to use.

Make the UI more engaging for the targeted users.

I suggested adding a messaging aspect to the App to allow students to collaborate on Homework together.

      RESEARCH
Extensive research was conducted with the aid of the Project Management team to gain further insight to the User Requirements. I created a questionaire which was passed to 30 students of the target age, to gain feed back as to the requirements for an App to connect them to their school.
A User Flow diagram was created to map a proposed journey for Users, and allow myself and the PM team to start to qualify the requirements.

      DESIGN OUTLINE
The components of the UX were broken down as follows:

          On Boarding

          Homework

          Time Table

          Homework

          Notifications

      DESIGN
With the processes of the project defined, I started to sketch out the basic elements and started to compile the components that would be used within the project.
A prototype was created allowing the PM Team to evaluate the project, and comment on it's progress.
